This is the class you need if you are going to school for or working in the healthcare industry.
Description: Select this class only if you have completed the on-line session of the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course. You will need to purchase the HeartCode BLS Online Course from the AHA website for $28.50. Then, once that is completed, you will bring your certificate of completion to your skill session and receive your BLS Card.

Online Part 1
Online Course, Web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support. This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS Healthcare Providers course completion. You will receive your AHA Keycode via email within 24 hours of Scheduling.

This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Some employer's only accept certain training. So to be certain you are selecting the correct provider or course you should check with your Employer before scheduling a class.
Most NC Healthcare facilities only accept the AHA BLS Provider course.
